Commercial Hair Sheep, Registered Kathadin Hair Sheep & Black Angus Cattle
Our Story
We are a small family farm operating in East-Central Kentucky. Our family has been raising cattle and owned horses for many years. In 2019, we decided to add Kathadins to our farm. We currently have around 50 breeding ewes and are using 3 rams to sire the flock. The ewes are a combination of registered and commercial while the rams used for siring are registered. Our sheep are turned out on pasture during the day and brought in every evening. We enjoy caring for and attending to the flock. We enrolled the flock in NSIP in 2023. We want to produce genetically sound sheep that perform well for our farm and for those who purchase them. Weight gain and parasite resistance are important in the sheep industry and are 2 areas of focus for us. We are currently accepting orders for 2024 lambs.
