Welcome to Reed's Family Farm
Registered Katahdin Hair Sheep

Our Story
We are a small family farm operating in East-Central Kentucky. Our family has been raising cattle and owned horses for many years. In 2019, we decided to add Kathadins to our farm. We originally started with a mixed flock of commercial and registered ewes. In 2024, we sold our commercial flock to focus on registered and NSIP seed stock. We currently have around 40 breeding ewes and are using 3 rams to sire the flock. All our sheep are registered and enrolled in the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP). We enjoy caring for and attending to the flock. We want to produce genetically sound sheep that perform well for our farm and for those who purchase them. Weight gain and parasite resistance are important in the sheep industry and are 2 areas of focus for us. We will have 2026 lambs available in June, 2026.. Contact us to get on our 2026 lamb waitlist.
